SMP is an advanced meteorological system with the ability to work with very high temperature changes, measuring and storing air temperature, humidity, relative pressure, wind speed, wind direction, and sound speed, it consists of four parts

1 – Digitizing analog sensors and implementing communication protocol in order to connect to the main system via an AVR microcontroller developed under Atmel Studio IDP.

2 – Collecting & displaying measured data and managing all sensors each with different protocols through an ARM Cortex-M3 STM32 microcontroller.

3 – Displaying & logging data and managing the entire system with Windows GUI software developed by C++ Qt Cross-platform framework.

4 – Supplying the entire system through an uninterruptible battery power supply via an AVR microcontroller.
